Deep Tissue Massage -is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury.
Neuromuscular- a massage modality that focuses on the treatment
of trigger points. Through the softening of trigger points, NMT aims to reduce
chronic pain, increase range of motion, and correct postural distortions.
Swedish- A gentle, relaxing massage. Improves blood circulation, range of motion and relieves muscle tension. Generally used for full body sessions. .
Trigger Point Therapy- Muscle massage and concentrated pressure on painful, irritated areas of muscles which can help break cycles of spasm and pain.
Reflexology-A natural healing art that focuses on the reflexes in the feet, hands and ears, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes the feet being the primary area of application, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.
Hot Stone Massage -Stone massage
is a form of bodywork that involves
the application of heated stones to the body during deep
tissue
massage. This
is a deeply relaxing
massage.
On Site Chair Massage- Sessions are
typically 15 minutes in length and focus on the back, shoulders, neck and arms
in a seated position. The chair can be transported to your site for convenience.
No disrobing or use of oils or creams is necessary.
